David was born in the East End of London,on April 10th, 1930. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. We were prompted to support The Cruse Bereavement Charity after the discovery of the following statement made by Dad 'When my wife was killed in a road accident in 1965 I was serving at RAF Topcliffe but I was in Germany when it happened. I was left with 4 children, Geoffrey 13, Alan 8, Amanda just had her 3rd birthday and Robert 11 months. Family life was quite tough for the next 5 years. There were a series of disasters and if it hadn't been for my wife's brother and his wife helping me with the young ones I don't know what I would have done. The RAF were no help.
